Why no rehearsal?

Hey hey! Just a quick blog to explain why I don't include rehearsals in my ceremony packages and why I generally discourage them...

In a nutshell, I believe that a good ceremony should have a spontaneous and fun feeI ... I find that a rehearsal takes away spontaneity and natural flow of the ceremony. Your special day is memorable because it only happens once!!

During our planning meeting I will take you through the entire ceremony, all the things, and then the week of the wedding I can talk you through it again to make sure you are feeling good about the whole ceremony.

I am a really experienced celebrant, MC and performer... and as laid back as I seem, I am actually pretty meticulous and really organised! I also pride myself on making everyone feel comfortable AND it is my job on the day to make sure everything runs smoothly!!!

And lastly having a rehearsal is basically like booking me to perform the ceremony twice - so you'd have to book in for a rehearsal well in advance AND I would have to charge you more - and I don't want to do that!
